Creating New Mods

The UGC Menu

Most of your controls for working with mods will be found in the UGC menu. From creating new mods to uploading mods for cooking and publishing, as well as enabling your to work on them.


Creating New Mods is easier than ever, there is now an Array for various general mod types such as creatures & structures. Simply select what template you want to use and enter the information in the menu below. Then "Create Mod".

Your initial mod plugin files will be automatically generated for you.


All ASA mods are now plugins. To access the files go to the UGC menu and in "Enabled mods" make sure the projects you want to work with are checked.

The actual project directories for the mods will be found in the Plugins section of the content browser
